J. Sees, with a brass blade front sight, 44 3/4" octagonal to round barrel. A rare example of a Lancaster rifle with wire inlay. Provenance: The Collection of Edie & Bruce Smart, Upperville, Virginia.
Condition
Front of trigger guard is no longer inset into the wood, hairline crack at trigger guard to side plate and at barrel tang to lock plate, patch to toe.
