Frederick Sell, Littlestown, Pennsylvania full stock flintlock long rifle, approximately .50 caliber, with tiger maple stock, four-piece engraved brass patchbox, trigger guard, engraved butt plate and side plate, cheek rest with relief carved foliate scrolls, silver oval medallion and thumbrest, relief carved scroll at barrel tang and last ram rod channel, the lock is unmarked, the barrel inscribed Frederick Sell, with dovetailed brass blade front sight, 42 5/8" octagonal barrel. Crack in forestock through and through about 2" from last barrel channel, crack through and through at lock, trigger guard and side plate.
