Henry Atkin side by side, side lock hammerless double-barrel shotgun with ejectors, 12 gauge, nitro proofed barrels, marked Henry Atkin LTD 7 Bury Street St. James London England, with finely scrolled engraved locks, tang, top lever and trigger guard and a nicely checkered English walnut stock, serial #1038, 27" barrels with 2 3/4" chambers. C&R
The 27" barrels one refinished and the mirror bores are improved and modified. The receiver, trigger guard, breech and top lever are ornately scroll engraved. The stock is nicely checkered English walnut with a 1" brass escutcheon behind the trigger guard tang. The shotgun has a 14 1/2" pull which includes the 1 3/8" stock extension. The drop is 2". The "safe" indicator is gold filled. Overall fine condition.
