Half stock percussion rifle, approximately .50 caliber, converted from flintlock, with brass furniture, set triggers, unusual pierced diamond rear sight, and tubular front sight, 41 1/2" octagonal barrel. Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Good overall condition, all metal turning brown, 1/2" x 9" patch to forend along barrel, rear tang drilled for sight, incorrect screw on tang, small patch to toe.
