George Spangler half stock percussion rifle, approximately .36 caliber, the barrel stamped G. Spangler Monroe Wis., with back action lock, lollipop rear sight, walnut stock with inlaid stag patchbox, 32 1/2" octagonal barrel. Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition, all metal turning brown, good stock.
