H. Gibbs (Lancaster County, Pennsylvania), full stock percussion long rifle, approximately .52 caliber, signed on barrel flat, with brass mountings and patchbox, 44'' octagonal barrel.
This percussion rifle has a lock with "H. E. LEMAN" over "LANCASTER PA" engraved in it. The barrel flat is stamped "H. GIBBS" over "LANCASTER, PA". The plain maple stock has a 4 piece patchbox with a heart shaped piercing below the finial. There are 2 cracks through the wrist which were repaired with a dowel. The lock is fully functional.
