H. Aston & Co. model 1842 percussion pistol, approximately .54 caliber, with walnut stock, having two cartouches, articulated ramrod, brass trigger guard, barrel band, back strap and butt cap, barrel stamped US over JH over P, the barrel tang dated 1847, the lock plate stamped Middtn Conn 1851, 8 1/2" barrel.
Overall very good condition, minor handling marks to stock.
