Extremely rare earthenware figural candlestick, ca. 1885, the underside of the base inscribed Solomon Bell Strasburg and also stamped S. Bell, the draped woman retaining its original brown painted surface, 10 1/2" h. Condition

Small flakes to base rim. Glaze exfoliation mostly around base. Head reattached. Old repair to neck.
