Corinthian globular-form aryballos, first half of the 6th c. B.C., 2 3/4" h. Provenance: The Collection of Norio Azuma, acquired in the 1980s and later purchased in 2013 from Explorer Ancient Art. Lot includes relevant paperwork.
Some damage. Provenance: A Pennsylvania estate. All of the ancient art and antiquities in this sale are from the same estate. An ancient art specialist was brought in from New York to assist with authenticating and describing the pieces in the collection.
