Connecticut Chippendale cherry dressing table, ca. 1770, probably New London County, with an unusual tray top above a case, with five drawers supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet, 29 1/4" h., 33" w., 20 3/4" w. Provenance: The Collection of Edie & Bruce Smart, Upperville, Virginia; Side Door Antiques, Kent, Connecticut, 1978.

Condition

Repaired break to front leg. Original brasses. Patch to one spur on apron left side. A couple small scratches to top.
