Christopher Dock printed periodical for Spiritual Magazine, Eines Schulmeisters Ernstliche Ermachnung an seine Schuler, ca. 1764, probably printed by Christopher Saur, Christopher Dock taught at a school in Skippack in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Spiritual Magazine was the first religious periodical published in America, pages numbered 263 - 270, 7 1/2" x 4 3/4", together with an early printed Ein Schon Himmels Lied (A Heavenly Song), 12" x 7 1/4", and a Christopher Saur printed broadside, dated 1762, in German, listing horses and cows for sale, etc.
Dock - Edge wear, minor stains. Song - creases, small edge tears and losses, minor stains. Broadside - torn in fours, stains.
