Chippendale mahogany tall post bed, ca. 1780, probably Philadelphia, with scrolled headboard and turned posts terminating in Marlborough feet, 86" h., 55" w., 78" d. together with sepia toile bed hangings, skirt and pillow shams and window valences, provenance Jan Whitlock. Provenance: Philip H. Bradley; Charles Dorman collection.
Top 6" of each post restored, side rails restored, feet original. Mattress and pillows not included with lot.
