Chester County, Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut spice box, ca. 1765, the molded cornice over a single door with elaborate line and berry inlay with central 8 point star within a crosshatched circle surrounded by a whimsical scrolling vine and crosshatched border, enclosing an interior with 9 drawers supported by spurred bracket feet, 22" h., 16 1/2" w.
