Bucks County, Pennsylvania painted pine box, late 19th c., originally owned by George Miller of Upper Black Eddy, who was a boatman on the Delaware River ferry, the Ida Mae, 5 3/4" h., 15 1/2" w. Provenance: Purchased from George Miller's daughter at the Miller farmstead.

Condition

Holes in lid where handle was attached. Clasp has been replaced. Minor surface abrasions.
