Boston silk on linen needlework sampler, inscribed "Deborah Robins her sampler made 1750", with verse flanked by a floral vine, over a scene of a shepherdess tending her flock, 13 1/2" x 10". Listed in American Samplers by Bolton & Coe, pg. 72. Page 41 contains a listing of another sampler by her daughter, Deborah Day, lot 678 in this sale.
