Ballard carbine falling block single shot rifle made by Ball & Williams, .44 RF caliber, with walnut stock having sling swivels, two leaf folding rear sight, 30" octagonal to round barrel. SN #7238 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Fair overall condition, heavy pitting on all metal which has been polished, good bore with strong rifling, stocks showing heavy handling marks with some losses to the forend.
