Abraham Gibbs (Lancaster, Pennsylvania), full stock percussion long rifle, approximately .44 caliber, the barrel also stamped C & S. Lutz (Reamstown, Pennsylvania), the scroll engraved lock with a hunting dog, with brass furniture including a scroll engraved three-piece patch box, the inside lid of the patch box is etched Joseph M. Chum, June 24th, 1855, likely an owners name, with set trigger, 37 1/2'' octagonal barrel.
1/2'' stock loss above tang to barrel, 6'' cracks from rear site to lower ramrod channel on left and right side, incorrect ramrod.
