18K gold porringer bearing the hallmark of William Forbes New York, inscribed Ball, Tompkins & Black, Successors to Marquand & Co. New York, with a presentation engraving inscribed Mary Phoenix Warren from her parents July 2, 1852, together with an 18K gold spoon bearing the hallmark of Ball Black & Co., Patent 1846 with the same presentation engraving, 166 dwt.
