York County, Pennsylvania walnut semi-tall chest, early 19th c., with four drawers flanked by smooth quarter columns supported by turned feet, 49" h., 38" w.
Pulls/brasses replaced. 1/4" x 6" strip missing from rear of side molding. Losses to cock beading around drawers. Small knot patch on second drawer. A few other chips and losses to molding. Sporadic age cracks. Old dry surface. Provenance: The Collection of Guy Keemer.
