Wool pictorial needlework, dated 1846, wrought by Elizabeth Miller, purportedly New Jersey, with a verse above houses and a church within a floral border, 16 1/2" x 17 1/2".
Toning. 1 1/2" x 1/2" hole in upper left corner. Several small holes in upper right corner. Minor stains. Sporadic thread loss. Probably original frame.
