Winchester model 1885 low wall falling block rifle, .22 LR caliber, made in 1898, with straight walnut stock, crescent butt plate, ebony inlaid Schnabel forend, 24 1/4" octagonal barrel. SN #82830 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Good overall condition, barrel and receiver showing a grey patina, stocks showing normal handling marks in addition to a repair where a rear sling swivel was on the butt stock, good bore with strong rifling.
