William Tinsley (American 19th c.), set of six oil on panel folk portraits of the Demmon family of New York, to include Joseph Morris Demmon (1790-1886), his wife Phoebe, and their four children William, Ellen, Sarah, and Caroline, 13 1/2" x 10 1/4".
Father: all over light surface abrasions. All in untouched condition. Most panels are slightly warped. Provenance: The Estate of Kristina Barbara Johnson, Princeton, NJ.
