Westminster, Massachusetts painted split ash covered oval bentwood box, 18th c. the lid decorated with the name "Molle Everett" surrounded by creamy white and blue pinwheels, half circle and philflot, the side with pinwheels flanking the date 1771, with overall red ground, 4 1/2" h., 14 1/4" l. Family history accompanies lot.
Red wash overpaint cleaned off. Good condition. No apparent damages or repairs.
