Western Pennsylvania Federal walnut chest of drawers, ca. 1805, the rectangular top with serpentine front, over a conforming case with 4 long drawers all with line and fan inlaid corners, flanked by canted stiles with line and bellflower inlays, over a skirt with diamond inlays supported by french feet, 37" h., 39" w.
Brasses replaced. Significant restoration to feet. Backboards replaced. Brasses replaced. Feet ended out 1". Some new blocking to feet. Secondary wood - tulip poplar.
