Wax and wood inlaid maple sailor's ditty box, mid 19th c., the case with ornate star and diamond inlays, the interior fitted with a mirrored lid and twelve small lidded compartments, 6 3/4" h., 13 1/2" w., 9 1/2" d.
Sporadic surface abrasions. Small losses to surface of two stars. Two cracks to interior mirror. One interior knob replaced. Sporadic surface imperfections.
