W.T. Evans at Valley Forge US model 1816 musket, .69 caliber smoothbore converted to percussion, dated 1833 on lock, US proofed 42'' barrel.
Good overall condition as converted, barrel and lock are strongly proofed and have turned brown, incorrect tang screw and bolt, sling is a modern replacement, lacking the bolster nipple.
