Excellent W. H. Hathaway salesman sample buckboard wagon, the seat inscribed W. H. Hathaway Pat'd March 31, 1874, retaining the original brown and red painted surface with yellow pinstripes and wheels with brass clad treads, wagon box - 18" l. William H. Hathaway was from East Claridon, Ohio and his patent was for a new draft attachment for platform wagons. Loss to wagon tong, otherwise excellent condition.
