Virginia wool canvaswork pictorial needlework, mid 18th c., depicting a shepherd tending a flock and a seated gentleman with a town in the background done in shades of blue, green, black, white, yellow, tan, and red, 13 1/4" x 17 1/4". Provenance: Descended in the Lee family of Virginia; Stephen and Carol Huber.
Very good overall condition. Some staining in sky areas.
