Very good scrimshaw powder horn, early 19th c., branded with I I, engraved with horses, with strong resemblance to Native American Indian style images, with elongated bodies, barrel chest and elongated necks, one horse with rider having long hair which can be interpreted as a headdress, also includes a wolf-type figure and a man with a spear, 17" l.

Condition

Very good condition, plug is carved with "A", age crack at wooden pin holding plug.
