US Springfield model 1884 trapdoor rifle, .45-70 caliber, having walnut stock stamped 15 at butt, with sling swivels, the lock inscribed US Springfield 1883, with eagle, the barrel with VP proof marks, US marked butt plate, 32 1/2" barrel. SN# 18205
Good overall condition as refinished, good bore with strong rifling, stock has been heavily sanded, lock polished bright.
