Colt US model 1911A1 transition model of 1924, second type pistol, .45 ACP caliber, exhibits all 1911A1 features including an arched mainspring housing, short checkered trigger, long tang on grip safety and trigger finger cutouts, slide retains the MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY markings, 5'' barrel with ''P'' over ''H'' proofs. Condition
Overall fine condition, retains 95% of original brushed blue, bright bore with strong rifling, incorrect grips are period walnut, double diamond and the magazine is two tone.
