US H. Aston & Co. model 1842 percussion pistol, .54 caliber, the lock plate stamped Middtn Conn 1850, the barrel tang dated 1850, with brass trigger guard, back strap and barrel band, walnut stock with ADK and WAT cartouche, 8 1/2" barrel.
Good overall condition, metal has been acid washed, 1" crack to right stock.
