US H. Aston & Co. model 1842 percussion pistol, .54 caliber, the lock plate stamped Middtn Conn 1851, with brass trigger guard, back strap and barrel band, walnut stock, 8" barrel.
Good overall condition, heavy pitting to barrel and bolster, missing articulated ramrod, stock shows normal handling marks.
