Unusual wallpaper bowl, ca. 1806, with red and green lattice decoration on a white ground, 3 1/2" h., 7" w. A note dated 1909 by Rebekah E. Hinny details the bowl's descent through her family.
As expected edge wear. 1" tear at one handle. A letter discussing the purchase of the basket in 1806 accompanies this lot.
