Unusual Pennsylvania watercolor and ink on paper fraktur cutout for Johannes Heller, Mifflin Township, Columbia County, dated 1816, with a central heart flanked by crowned angels and flowers, the designs cutout and on a copper foil background, 7 1/2" x 12 1/2".
Period frame with abrasions and losses. Some losses to black lettering. Minor foxing. Some discoloration to paper. Examined out of frame.
