Umpire Gaffney's Parlor Game of Base Ball, ca. 1885, lithographed paper on wood framed game, with spinner and playing rules, a very scarce game. 14" x 10 3/4". Wikipedia: John H. Gaffney (1855-1913), nicknamed the "King of Umpires" and "Honest John" was an American umpire and manager in Major League Baseball. He was baseball's first great umpire, and played a pioneering role in the use of multiple umpires in baseball games.
