Two similar New England continuous arm Windsor chairs, ca. 1795.

Condition

Both chairs have an older brown paint. #1 (continuous arm) - 26" h. (arms), 17 3/4" h. (seat), 22" w. (at arms), 23 1/2" w., old split to seat, not too bad, feet/legs are ended out, right rear leg broken where it meets the seat. #2 (braceback) - 26 1/2" h. (arms), 17 1/2" h. (seat), 21" w., 23" d., gouge in left back leg.
