Two Greek silver bowls, 6th-2nd c. B.C., tallest - 3 1/4" h. Provenance: First bowl - A London collection, acquired in the 1980s and later purchased in 2016 from C.J. Martin, London; Second bowl - A private German collection and later purchased in 2012 from Apolonia Ancient Art, Colorado. Lot includes relevant paperwork.
Provenance: A Pennsylvania estate.All of the ancient art and antiquities in this sale are from the same estate. An ancient art specialist was brought in from New York to assist with authenticating and describing the pieces in the collection.
