Condition
On page 13 the illustration caption titled "Him and Another Man" is listed as being on page 88 (in the book the illustration actually appears on page 87). On page 57 the 11th line from the bottom reads, "…with the was…". The page number for page 155 in missing the last "5". In the portrait bust of Mark Twain there is no scarf on the table. Front cover is detached from the spine (text block is detached from the front cover). All four front and back end papers are present. The inscription is on a blank page of the book itself (not glued in). No apparent loose pages. Very minor foxing. Provenance: descended in the Pond family.
