Tower pattern 1853 percussion musket,.577 caliber, the lock inscribed Tower 1862, the barrel inscribed 24, with brass trigger guard and butt plate, walnut stock, 33" barrel. SN #1178
Overall poor condition, stock has been cut down, heavy pitting to exterior of barrel, missing rear sling swivel.
