Three silk on linen samplers, 19th c., one inscribed "Albany", 16 1/2" x 11", 11" x 14", and 16" x 7 1/2".
Albany NY sampler: "A. Schermerhorn", several holes & repairs in border, several repairs in alphabets, browned, generally fair/poor condition. "Matilda Childs" sampler: browned all over, faded, losses to edge. Third sampler: "Catherine Young", rust around edge pins.
