Three pieces of historical blue Staffordshire, 19th c., to include a winter view of Pittsfield, Massachusetts soup bowl, 10 1/4" dia., America Independent plate, 8 3/4" dia., and Commodore MacDonnough victory plate, 10" dia. Provenance: Property sold with the approval of the trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to benefit acquisition funds.
Pittsfield - excellent. America - knife marks, glaze wear to rim and inner rim. MacDonnough - knife marks, some discoloration. Provenance: property sold with the approval of the trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to benefit acquisition funds.
