The fall of Richmond, VA on the night of April 2, 1865 - writing along bottom reads "Pub'd by Currier & Ives. Entered according to Act of Congress AD 1865 by Currier & Ives in the clerk's office of the District of the United States for the Southern District of N.Y. 152 Nassau St. NY, water damages throughout and overall toning, 10 1/4" x 16 1/4" (w/margins, 7 7/8" x 12 1/4" (w/o margins). Wild Duck Shooting on the wing - writing along bottom reads "Pub'd by Currier & Ives. Entered according to Act of Congress AD 1865 by Currier & Ives in the clerk's office of the District of the United States for the Southern District of N.Y. 152 Nassau St. NY, loss to center sky, toning throughout, foxing throughout, 10 1/4" x 14 3/8" (w/margins), 8" x 12 1/2" (w/o margins).
