Three Andreas Kessler, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania watercolor Wiessler (Wissler) family frakturs, two for Christian and Elizabeth Wiessler announcing births of children, dated 1807 and 1803, the other for Jacob and Catarina Wiessler announcing the birth of a son, dated 1778, 12 1/2'' x 15 1/4''. Provenance: McConkey collection, York County, Pennsylvania.
1778 - infill to wings of parrots, creases, edge tears, rebacked on laid paper. 1803 - Stains, center and edge tears, sporadic paper patches. 1807 - stains, edge tears, small patch to lower left corner. All with contemporary frames.
