The Logan family pair of Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany ribbonback dining chairs, late 18th c., made by Thomas Tufft for Stenton in 1783. Originally part of a set of twelve, another chair from this set is illustrated in Horner Blue Book of Philadelphia Furniture, plate 289.

Parts: copy of Horner's Blue Book, provenance. Minor abrasions to legs. Family provenance available.
