Stoneware jug, 19th c., inscribed "Manufactured for Fredericksburg, VA", 12 1/4" h., together with a pitcher, impressed "Bangor Stoneware Co.", 12 1/2" h.
Fredericksburg jug - the jug has a long hairline crack about 9" in length starting on the bottom and running up across the front of the jug, separation where handle is attached. Pitcher - has a long hairline crack about 5" in length starting on the bottom and running up towards the handle, the entire base may have been repaired and is in need of repair.
