Staton flintlock pistol, ca. 1750, .60 caliber barrel stamped Crooked Lane London, having a brass lock plate, panoply of arms side plate, grotesque mask butt cap, and acorn finial on trigger guard with horn tipped ramrod, 9" octagonal to round swamped barrel.
Staton worked from 1750 - 1790. Crack at sideplate. Purchasers of firearms must comply with any and all state and federal laws governing their purchase, registration and transport.
