Springfield US model 1855 percussion rifle-musket, .58 caliber, with Maynard tape primer, the lock inscribed US Springfield 1858, with eagle, the barrel with VP eagle head proof marks, the tang inscribed B60, left side of walnut stock with inspector cartouche, US marked butt plate, long range rear sight with long leaf, 40'' barrel.
Bright barrel, very good stock, overall very good condition.
