Springfield Arsenal model 1903 bolt action rifle, .30-06 caliber, with finger groove, two-bolt walnut stock having JSA cartouche on left wrist and P and 56 behind the trigger guard, sling and stacking swivels, the barrel with flaming bomb, stamped SA 12-10, adjustable rear ladder sight, 24" barrel. SN# 452988 C&R
Very good overall condition, with most blue turning grey, stock has been sanded and varnished, frosty bore with strong rifling.
