Springfield Arsenal model 1903 bolt action rifle, .30-06 caliber, with finger groove, two-bolt walnut stock with WJS and SA over SPG cartouches to the left wrist and a P behind the trigger guard, sling and stacking swivels, the barrel is marked with the flaming bomb, stamped SA 11-08, adjustable rear ladder sight, 24" barrel. SN# 134388 C&R
Very good overall condition as an arsenal re-build, metal is turning grey, stock has been sanded and {BI} over {154} is stamped to the right buttstock, frosty bore with good rifling. The serial number has been ground and re-stamped.
